Vehicle Restoration Cleaning

Vehicle Restoration Cleaning in Wichita & Sedgwick County

Vehicle restoration cleaning is an intensive detailing service designed for neglected, heavily soiled, or long-unused vehicles that need more than a standard detail to bring them back to a like-new condition. Trent’s Express Detailing provides mobile restoration cleaning throughout Wichita and Sedgwick County, tackling built-up grime, stains, and odor that regular detailing can’t fully resolve in one pass.

Overview

Not every vehicle needs a routine detail — some need a genuine rescue. Whether it’s a car that’s sat unused for months, a work truck with years of accumulated grime, a recent used-car purchase with an unknown history, or a family vehicle that’s simply gotten away from you, restoration cleaning is built for heavier jobs. It often requires multiple cleaning passes, specialized treatments, and extra time to fully reverse months or years of neglect.

Frequently Asked Questions

Vehicles that have sat unused for extended periods, have heavy odor or mold issues, show years of neglected grime, or were recently purchased used with an unknown cleaning history typically benefit most from restoration cleaning rather than a routine detail.

In most cases, yes. Heavy odor issues like smoke and mildew often require specialized treatments and multiple passes, which restoration cleaning is specifically designed to handle.

Depending on the vehicle’s condition, restoration cleaning can take anywhere from 4 hours to a full day, and may occasionally require a follow-up visit for the most severe cases.

We treat mold and mildew and clean affected surfaces thoroughly; however, severe water damage affecting electrical systems or structural components may require additional repair beyond cleaning.

It’s typically priced higher than a standard full detail because of the additional time, materials, and specialized treatment required — but it’s a fraction of the cost of replacing interior components or the vehicle itself.
